Gutscheine

If you want to have stuff noone else in your family, friends or even in your whole city has, it is often pretty difficult to find unique places to buy them. An excellent tip is to go overseas, more specific, to germany. There are TONS of cool things in every sector you can imagine, starting from cars over hi-fi to clothes, you have to check them out. 

Of course you don't want to have to jump on a plane to berin or munich to get them. But that is certainly not a problem - go get them online!

Online shopping in Germany works the same way it works all over the world. But you may have a hard time finding suitibale coupons that save you lots of money.. because you may very well not know the correct search phrases and terms to find them.

For a start, the german word for coupons is "Gutscheine". Alternatives are "Gutschein", the singular form, or "Gutscheincodes". Yep, their word "code" is the same as ours.

German online shops have almost always a few codes that you can use for free to save money on your purchases. You can find them dooing a google search for "gutscheine" for example, and it will give you many many sites to choose from. The bad thing is, that most of these sites are very hard to understand and navigate if you don't speak german. However, there are exceptions, and I am going to introduce them to you over the next few weeks!
